Shipping

Free shipping on all items New Zealand wide via tracked courier.  This usually takes about 2 business days for urban areas and around 5 business days for rural areas.

Your Jewellery will be sent via tracked courier and a signature will be required to receive the package.

Shipping Outside of New Zealand

We use New Zealand post and send your item via a tracked system.  Please allow 10+ business days for your package to arrive.

  • Australia and International Please check shipping availability to your country from New Zealand and the cost for shipping will be incorporated into your estimate for work carried out.

Please note that International orders may incur customs or import duty fees when your order arrives. Please contact your local customs office for further information. GG Jewellery will not be liable for any import or custom taxes that may apply to your order.

In instances where jewellery needs to be returned from overseas, the purchaser is responsible for the cost of returning the item and also responsible for the cost of having the finished piece returned to them.

Our jewellery is handmade to order in our Wellington workshop unless specified as ‘Ready to Ship’.

Made to order items can take 6 to 8 weeks depending on our supply chain and the handmade nature of the commission. Ready to Ship items will be dispatched within 3 business days. If you need an item sooner or by a specific date, please contact us at ggjewellery@icloud.com and we will try our best to accommodate you.

Returns
GG Jewellery that is ‘Ready to Ship (excludes handmade to order and commissons) may be returned for an exchange or credit note within 10 days of receiving the item. The item must be returned in unworn condition with the original packaging at the expense of the customer.  Exchange requests are subject to item availability and at the discretion of GG Jewellery. Credit notes will be valid for 6 months from issue date.
Under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act we will endeavour to remedy any manufacturing faults with repair, replacement or a credit note.
As most of our jewellery is handmade to order according to customer specifications, we do not offer refunds for change of mind.  Please consider this prior to placing your order. Do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you might have about the product prior to purchasing it.  
Shipping costs and custom duties will not be refunded or credited.

Repairs
We will repair manufacturing faults at no cost within 6 months of the purchase date, however it is our policy that you return the piece for inspection before we agree to the repair. We reserve the right to not repair, or to add a cost to any goods returned after the aforementioned 6 month period. Manufacturing faults do not include; broken chain, chipped or scratched surfaces, general wear and tear including rings that have been bent out of shape, chains that have had force applied, oxidised or on which the plating is fading. GG Jewellery is made by hand, each piece is individual and therefore slight alterations from the images shown on the website may occur.
If you have ordered the incorrect size, we offer a resizing service for a nominal fee.
If you are needing to provide us with a ring size, we highly recommend you to seek the help of a local manufacturing jeweller to ensure the correct size is given to us before we start production.

Sale items cannot be returned.  Please choose carefully.

Personal jewellery and associated precious items held by GG Jewellery on behalf of customers is not necessarily covered under company insurance policy.

Changes and cancellations

If you wish to change or cancel a commission or order, you must contact us at ggjewellery@icloud.com within 24 hours of placing your order or paying your deposit. Deposits on commissions are not refundable after production has begun.
